Southdale Recreation Centre offers Adult Fitness Programs that are designed for adults of all ages in a co-ed, friendly, and fun atmosphere for every fitness level. The program includes an hour class two times per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:30 PM. The exercise to music program includes a kick and punch cardiovascular boot camp workout followed by a stretch and strength weight routine and pilates core training type mat workout and cool down. Whereas cardio training is excellent for the heart, conditioning, and giving you more energy, emphasis is also on weights to guard against osteoporosis and core training for stabilization of trunk and spine. We pride ourselves on having the best, most energizing music in town. |
Fitness Instructor, Regina Angeleau, is a certified Manitoba Fitness Leader and holds an Associateship with the Royal Conservatory of Toronto School of Music. She continually designs new and exciting courses of fitness to suit changing lifestyles and trends. Regina has participated in training and Masterclasses with Gin Miller in Montreal – the inventor of the Reebok Step and Vice President of the Reebok Step program; Sara Kooperman IDEA World Fitness Champion of Chicago; Billy Blanks of California of Tae Bo fame, Helen Vanderburgh international presenter from Calgary and many other world class trainers and instructors. |

Tuesday and/or Thur 6:30-7:30 p.m. Cost is $50.00.... for 12 weeks for 1/week or $90.00 for 2/week for 12 weeks. Classes begin Tuesday September 15. Costs are subject to change without notice. |
